Meet Teva, the newest member of our otter training team. She was born at SeaWorld San Antonio almost a year ago. You might have seen her and her family at the Asian small-clawed otter exhibit. She is learning the ropes of training-how to heel, target, and most importantly, getting to know us. She has a signature scent-vanilla-and hopefully she will learn that where she smells it, that’s where she should be. You can see here that she is picking which PVC tube has vanilla on it. In a year, she will have learned so much that you can see her in the Cannery Row Caper!
