Bio:

It is no surprise Catherine loves working with the animals at SeaWorld.  She got her start in the San Antonio Sea World Education Department in 1998 conducting Behind the Scenes tours and sleepovers and helping to kick start the Beluga Interaction Program.  At the end of that same year she joined the team in San Antonio preparing dolphins for an exciting move to Orlando to open Discovery Cove in 2000.  Catherine returned to San Antonio in 2008 to join the interaction team responsible for Beluga Interactions and Sea Lion Interactions.  These days she can be found in the Cannery Row Caper show at Sea Lion Stadium where she has fun taking care of California Sea Lions, Asian Small Clawed Otters and a Pacific Walrus.

Blogging Philosophy:

I believe the heart of what we do at SeaWorld beats for the visitors coming to our park every year to admire beautiful animals, watch entertaining shows and ride thrilling rides.  It is their excitement that energizes the team working here to help create lasting memories.  It is my hope to produce captivating blog posts about the everyday lives we share with the incredible animals here at SeaWorld.
