I started my career with SeaWorld in 1976 in the Park Operations department and 32 years later, I am the director of operations. My responsibilities are to help maintain the cleanliness and quality in the park, as well as manage the operations side of the shows and rides. SeaWorld has played a huge role in my life; it’s where I met my wife of 29 years, and my daughter works here as well. When not busy with SeaWorld, I garden, cook, work with the Boy Scouts of America and I am a big John Wayne fan.

I hope to shed some light on exactly what operations means and does for SeaWorld, and at the same time share some of what has been such a wonderful part of my life. SeaWorld always tries to entertain as well as educate, and I hope to do my part.
