One of the things I love about December is that you start seeing penguins everywhere. Cheerful penguin ornaments for the Christmas tree, shiny penguin wrapping paper for the gifts, and even funny penguin hats for those brisk winter days. But none of that compares to what’s nuzzled up all snug in their nests at SeaWorld San Antonio - penguin chicks!

Christmas is always a great time of year! Along with spending time with family and friends, this is the one time you get to enjoy certain foods that only come out once or twice a year! You can indulge yourself and not feel bad, well...because it is the HOLIDAYS!

Thanksgiving has come and gone. As we near Christmas, one of the things I am most thankful for is our military and their families that have made many sacrifices for us in their service to our country.

I can’t believe the whirlwind first season of Aquatica just came to a close. The year was so full of challenges, excitement, fun and all that goes along with opening a new theme park that it is almost a blur! (Did I mention my wife and I had a baby right before opening too?!)
For the 2nd year in a row, SeaWorld San Antonio will host the World’s Largest Swimming Lesson – an international Guinness World Record attempt for the largest simultaneous swimming lesson ever conducted on Thursday, June 14. This year lessons will take place in the new Aquatica Waterpark at 10 a.m.
Pete and Penny, two of the penguins who live at SeaWorld San Antonio, recently took a trip to walk the blue carpet for the premiere of Discovery's Frozen Planet, which premieres March 18th.
A passenger snapped this great video of the penguin pair stretching their legs in the aisle mid-flight!
