I graduated December 17, 2011 with a Bachelors degree in Marketing from UTSA. In the midst of studying for tests, getting ready for graduation and trying to find extra tickets for my family for the ‘big day,’ I had to start looking for jobs and applying ASAP. While searching, just about two weeks before graduation I found SeaWorld San Antonio’s post for a marketing internship.

April is the Month of the Military Child, and SeaWorld San Antonio was honored to be a part of celebrating with them at Ft. Sam Houston, Texas earlier this month. Shamu came out to meet and greet with children between their baseball, t-ball and soccer games and even hand out some bubbles to the little ones.

Since San Antonio celebrates Fiesta in April, our Pizza of the Month is an awesome Nacho Chicken Pizza. Chef Hector demonstrates how to create this spicy pizza!

SeaWorld San Antonio prides itself on the care given its animal residents. Recently the Association for Zoos and Aquariums officially recognized our park for our animal care standards and the success of our conservation and and education programs.

As we Spring Forward and change our clocks, we're also Springing into Night at SeaWorld San Antonio with extended hours and exciting shows, March 10-17!

The Von Trapp Children visited SeaWorld San Antonio as part of Wild Days with Jack Hanna. While they were here, they participated in our Beluga Interaction Program. Here's Amanda with one of our beluga whales!

2011 was an incredibly rewarding year for me as the Park President of SeaWorld San Antonio. We achieved remarkable and, in many cases, record results in just about every category we measure; attendance, revenue and efficiency. These achievements are simply a result of focusing on the softer side of the business and one that I take the most pride in.
