Ever wonder how SeaWorld animal trainers teach an animal to do the amazing behaviors that you see in shows? Your search for knowledge is over! This is the first in a series of vlogs hosted by the Animal Training team at the Beluga Stadium designed to give you an inside glimpse as to how we train animals. The first behavior to be demonstrated… teaching a two year old beluga whale named Atla how to do a jump, which we call a bow. Check back every few weeks to see her progress.

My job is cool. For years I' ve enjoyed a career training and performing with beluga whales and Pacific whitesided dolphins, but I recently got to experience something that I never dreamed I would.
