A Wave of Momentum

2011 was an incredibly rewarding year for me as the Park President of SeaWorld San Antonio. We achieved remarkable and, in many cases, record results in just about every category we measure; attendance, revenue and efficiency. These achievements are simply a result of focusing on the softer side of the business and one that I take the most pride in.

Team Member Tuesday: Triple Threat

For this month’s Team Member Tuesday post I decided to highlight our overall Team Members of the Month from the first quarter. Every month, departmental directors from SeaWorld San Antonio nominate team members who have gone above and beyond their job duties. These three individuals have very different job tasks, but they all have a similar love for their job.

Spooky Preview Night

by Staff

The scares and screams at SeaWorld San Antonio started on September 30th when we hosted the Team Member Preview Night of Howl-O-Scream . Like any other program or product, we like our team members to preview what it is our park guests will be experiencing so we offer them first take.

Team Members not only enjoyed old “haunts” like Jack's Frightmare Forest but also our very new maze called Den of the Departed.

Revved Up For Rides…

by Staff

The energy was almost a pulse in the room, just absolutely contagious. I walked into the Boardwalk Event Center at SeaWorld San Antonio to a thumping beat, down a dark hallway until entering to see a changed room. Changed not by decorations, but by the sheer fun and excitement flowing from every team member.

It was my first SeaWorld San Antonio Rides Rally and I was just blown away. I expected to have fun, how can you be around some of the most enthusiastic team members at the park and not crack a smile?
