Last week 16 sailors, representing four of 11 Naval commands in San Antonio, reported for duty at Journey to Atlantis. The sailors are based at Ft. Sam Houston and Lackland Airforce Base. They had a chance to put the ride through its paces and test it over and over again.

About 25 American Coaster Enthusiasts from the South Central Region showed up for SeaWorld San Antonio's Media Day on Friday. At the end of the day, I think that someone said he had ridden it 48 times! Others weren't too far behind.
Finally...today is the day that we debut SeaWorld San Antonio's newest ride, Journey to Atlantis, to the media. However, last night we unveiled the ride for a more important audience. SeaWorld San Antonio held a preview party for our park team and their families.
As part of the preparation for opening day, the Journey to Atlantis rides team got a little wet with SeaWorld San Antonio's General Manager Dan Decker. Park guests also take a peek at the riders over the wall, which will come down this Saturday, May 12th. Things are getting exciting around the park.
