But the most important thing we do has always been taking care of animals - both in our park and out in the natural environment. Ever since the very first SeaWorld opened in San Diego CA back in 1964, we have consistently been there to answer the call when animals need our help.

Sesame Street is coming to San Antonio, and we need your help giving them a hardy Texas welcome.

SeaWorld is opening Sesame Street Bay of Play on March 11. To mark the occasion, SeaWorld is hosting a video contest, and we're seeking the most creative ways that you'd welcome Sesame Street to Texas. And, we want you to get the whole family involved - for that matter, get the whole neighborhood!

The holiday season brings exciting times at SeaWorld San Antonio, including the all-new “Clyde & Seamore’s Countdown to Christmas.” SeaWorld has brought in Broadway director, BT McNicholl to create the scene for our holiday sea lion, walrus and otter show.

SAN ANTONIO (Sept. 22, 2010) – In spring 2011, SeaWorld San Antonio will open Sesame Street Bay of Play, an all-new attraction for families featuring Elmo, Big Bird and all their friends. Sesame Street Bay of Play will include 3 acres of exciting rides, shows and play areas.
