Besides our amazing team members, animals and attractions what makes Aquatica very unique is the resort like atmosphere we have created. This is truly a waterpark like no other you have experienced in this part of the world. Many waterparks are known for steel towers, lots of concrete and, unfortunately, crowds. We wanted to go the opposite direction with Aquatica.

Aquatica San Antonio will be coming to SeaWorld in May 2012. Recently, we had the opportunity to take some San Antonio media and Texas bloggers to Aquatica in Orlando, Florida for a familiarization tour. When given the chance to go, I gladly said YES! This was my very first time to see Florida, so to get the chance to finally visit our sister parks was exciting.

As we move towards the opening of Aquatica I will be taking some time to explain some of the concept images and what our guests will experience when they visit our new waterpark. One of my favorite images and concepts of Aquatica is the resort atmosphere. When we were talking to guests in focus groups guests were adamant that a resort feel was something they couldn’t find in the cities they come from. We knew right away this would be one of the most important features for us to deliver on
