SeaWorld Goes to the Dogs

We are accustomed to watching killer whales leap majestically from the water, getting kisses from beluga whales and having sea lions smile at us. But it’s that time of year when heads turn as dogs stroll through the park and spend the day in the offices of their human friends. Yep … Bring Your Dog to Work Day is finally here!! In its third year at SeaWorld San Antonio, it’s a highly anticipated event for team members

In the holdiay classic The Nutcracker, the Nutcracker Prince travels with Clara to the Land of Sweets on a boat pulled by dolphins. shark jawAsk anyone in the Zoological Operations Department at SeaWorld about how their career working with animals began, and I'm positive that most of the answers you hear will be very similar to my own.

Getting Creative: Artistic Animals

by Staff

Shows are a very small part of an animal's day here at SeaWorld. They are learning new behaviors, getting their check-ups and of course playing. We have an extensive enrichment program here at the park for all of the species we care for-from fish to whales. Environmental enrichment keeps the animals' days engaging.

Our animals are so well cared for that their food and shelter are provided for them.
