It's rodeo time in San Antonio! The BBQ Cook-off that we just hosted represents the kick off of rodeo season in San Antonio. Our beloved Spurs hit the road for a couple of weeks, and the rodeo moves into the AT&T Center. One of the great things we do with the rodeo is sponsor an event called Calf Scramble. As the holiday season approaches, the biggest question I get is, "What do you do for the holidays?" All of the animal staff are at the park 7 days a week, 365 days a year. There isn't one of us who hasn't shared a Thanksgiving or Christmas with the animals we care for. Whenever Thanksgiving comes along there is also that inevitable question, “What are you thankful for?”

I’m usually the type of person who waits until the week of Christmas to do all of my shopping. I don’t know if it’s because all my family is out of town and I don’t like travelling with presents or that I’ve never gotten into shopping online and having stuff shipped (except for last year), but that’s the way I do things. I make my list, plan my route and am done within a few hours.
America Recycles and at SeaWorld San Antonio, So Do We!
November 15 marks the annual America Recycles Day, which brings awareness to importance of reducing our nation’s waste. According to the Houston Chronicle, America Recycles Day got its start thanks to Texas Recycles Day back in 1994.
