Hey all you Tweeps out there! Jack O’Lantern, our resident party pumpkin is itching to scare you, so he is giving away tickets to SeaWorld San Antonio with a hashtag contest on Twitter.
How do you enter, you ask? Simply tweet a comment to your followers saying why you are excited that Howl-O-Scream is back at SeaWorld San Antonio and use the hashtag #jackisback. Only one comment per Twitter account per day will be accepted. Be sure and keep it clean or Jack will disqualify you for inappropriate language.
Jack will be giving away a family four-pack of tickets once a week for the whole month of October so you will have a couple chances to win. The first giveaway period is this week! You have until 12 a.m. cst on October 1 to tweet your comment. Tweets with the hashtag #jackisback in their body and a message for @Jackreturns, @seaworldtexas or about Howl-O-Scream for a given week (“Drawing Period”) will be entered into a random drawing for that week. Only messages sent in a given Drawing Period are eligible for that period. Drawing periods are as follows:
- September 24, 2010 at 12 a.m. to October 1, 2010 at 12 a.m.
- October 1, 2010 at 12 a.m. to October 8, 2010 at 12 a.m.;
- October 8, 2010 at 12 a.m. to October 15, 2010 at 12 a.m.;
- October 15, 2010 at 12 a.m. to October 22, 2010 at 12 a.m.; and,
- October 22, 210 at 12 a.m. to October 29, 2010 at 12 a.m.
Jack will randomly draw a winner every Friday morning starting next Friday, October 1. The odds of winning depend upon the number of eligible entries (Twitter comments) received, so be sure and tweet out using the hashtag #jackisback everyday! No one participant may win more than a single drawing.
If you are a lucky winner, Jack will notify you via direct message on Twitter no later than 1 p.m. on the day of the drawing. To get the message, you will need to follow @Jackreturns on Twitter. If Jack can’t get a hold of you by the end of the day, he’ll have to pick someone else, so watch your messages!
