AdventureCon 2012 Attendees
We wanted to meet some of the most interesting bloggers in Texas and their families. It started with a slumber party with our cool penguins and a 12 amazing women in 2009. This core group became the SeaWorld Wildside. The next year, we brought back our original campers and their families, along with eight new additions, for the Wildside Family Reunion in 2010.
We loved it so much we did it again in 2011!
But this year, we wanted to take it to the next level. The 2012 Wildsiders have gone through an application process and are some of the most interesting and accomplished writers in the state. It wasn’t easy to choose our final Wildside crew this year. All of the applicants could easily be on the list, and more.
We chose the finalists based on their overall web presence, the vibrancy of their community and their ability to tell a story. This year our theme will be storytelling. We started with the first ever AdventureCon conference in June where we learned to tell better stories with our writing, photos and videos.
We hope our nineteen 2012 SeaWorld Wildside Ambassadors will help you see the park in a different way, and that they will be your advocates. They have already started, check out the posts from our Wildsiders and other bloggers at AdventureCon.
Check out our 2012 roster of bloggers below. Be sure to follow them and check out their blogs, too. You can follow them all on Twitter on our Wildside 2012 List and you can subscribe to all of their blogs through this Google Reader list.
