When I was told that I had been chosen to go on a Seafari Tour, I had no idea what that meant. When my fellow officemate enlightened me, I was ecstatic. I had the chance venture behind-the-scenes of the animal venues and see how they interact with one another, in an up-close and personal setting. The Seafari tour was an awe-inspiring experience; it was almost surreal to see such majestic animals only feet away.
My favorite parts of the tour include petting the beluga whales and feeding the sea lions. Not only was the tour fun and exciting, but it was also very informative. Even though I have worked at SeaWorld San Antonio for four years now, I learned a lot more than I would ever have expected to during the tour. I have never had the chance to do a tour like this before, and I think it is something that not too many people know about. If I had known about the Seafari Tour before, I would have signed up sooner! It is certainly a great way to mingle with the animals even when the park is closed.
